All Gaffney's Ltd projects are delivered by highly skilled and trained operatives in all areas of essential groundwork infrastructure, from a variety of foundation types, drainage solutions, retaining structures, block, and beam floors, slab construction and associated finishing works.
With experienced groundworkers on site, all of whom are CSCS qualified and further trained in-house, we are placed to oversee entire groundwork contracts from start to finish. We specialise in delivering the full groundworks package inline with client expectations from infrastructure works to finishes and not just helping to build a site, but to helping to build homes and futures for some of the leading major housebuilders.
Our work takes place both above and below ground. Starting with site clearance and strip with any cut and fill; we then excavate for installation of roads and sewers along with any associated infrastructure works like drainage outfalls, ponds, noise bunds, and 278 work schemes. We ensure that our workmanship is executed safely and in line with the latest site drawings and quality controls.
Our groundwork plays a vital part in making our clients’ homes safe, structurally sound, and comfortable to live in. Therefore, we invest in the very latest plant to get the job done efficiently, safely, and to the highest specification possible. We conduct regular safety audits of our worksites and provide an on-site foreman on all projects; whose job it is to uphold the excellent quality standards we demand on all our projects.

In addition, our emphasis on sustainability has led to our investment strategy concentrating on procuring products which reduce our carbon footprint. This has included purchasing hybrid excavators and equipment with the lowest fuel consumption in its range.
